One of a Kind 10-Week Program!

Idaho’s premier professional theater offers an Apprentice Program for Treasure Valley high-school students. Program includes over 200 hours of intensive acting instruction and a performance showcase on the Festival’s main stage. Apprentices may also work backstage on season productions. Admission by audition only.

Apprentice Training

Apprentice Training includes the following:

•    Play Analysis
•    Performance
•    Improv
•    Movement
•    Auditioning
•    Speech
•    Costuming, production & shop work
•    Text

Auditions

Who: Juniors, Seniors and students who’ve finished their Sophomore year

When
: May 1st & 2nd, 4-6 PM. By appointment only.  To schedule an audition: Renee Knappenberger, Director of Education 429-9908 x206, renee@idahoshakespeare.org

What:

  • One monologue from Shakespeare
  • A resume and a photo of yourself
  • Audition pieces should not exceed 5 minutes total
